    RED Directive

    If your printer was purchased in Europe, the Middle East, or Africa (EMEA) on or after August 1, 2025, it will include enhanced security features designed to comply with the EU Radio Equipment Directive (RED). For the printer’s initial setup, you will be required to create a Protected Mode password and enable the Protected Mode before certain configuration options can be changed.
